Firing off email for bug reporting leads to chaos and unhappiness.
TurboCASH is a mature architecture - We have been committted to Bug fixing for a number of years now over many releases, true bugs are rare (but are not nonexistant). Most Bugs are misdiagnosed user errors. We do have a methodology for dealing with Bugs.
Development is expensive and DEVELOPEMENT IS ALWAYS PAID FOR. It is paid either by the developer or by the user that wants the request. SOMEONE PAYS.Core development costs as much as $ 150 per hour.
Key is to decide if a problem is a bug or a user issue. If it is a user issue, a consultant must be assigned and a consultant must be paid. If a bug is a mainstream problem it enters a que and it may get fixed. If it is rare obscure problem, the user will probabably have to pay to have the bug fixed. If you are having doubts or the issue is beyond your area of expertiese, you may need to take out a support ticket for $ 26.
TurboCASH is an advanced state technology. (One million lines of code) It is difficult to chase down Bugs from users. We have to filter out user errors. Only Bugs from consultants make it onto the list. Bug Repoerters must be memebrs of the Sourceforge Site. It takes a high degree of skill to hunt these down and kill them. If you are up for this: Report Bugs on the Bug Reporter
